Justin Aiken Robin Flaig Memorial Motorcycle Ride 2010

We are pleased to announce the Aiken-Flaig Memorial Motorcycle Ride is scheduled for July 24, 2010. We are looking forward to having another great day and continuing our streak of perfect weather for a 120 mile motorcycle ride.
Here is this year's flyer of the ride. I'm sure it will look familiar but, hey, it's recognizable and why mess with that? You can click on the flyer to enlarge it. You can even print it and hang it up some place people will see it if you'd like. And here is a map of the ride:

To pre-register for the ride please print and fill out the waiver below, make a check payable to "Justin Aiken-Robin Flaig Scholarship c/o Claremont School District". The cost is $15 for the operator and $5 for a passenger. Mail the waiver and payment (by June 27th) to:

the Fullam/Flaig family
10 West Pleasant Street
Claremont, NH 03743

Please include your phone number or email address if you would like notification that we received your registration.
And here is the waiver:

As always, if you can't go on the ride but you would like to watch the motorcycles leave and/or get back please come. If you can't participate or come to the ride but would like to contribute to the scholarship fund you can of course do that. Please use the information above telling how to register by mail; just don't fill out and send a waiver.

We are again selling raffle tickets for firewood and a handmade quilt. Tickets will be available on the day of the ride. If you want to purchase raffle tickets before the ride please call Tim and Cheryl at 603 542 2287 or Pat and Randy at 603 542 8803. Here are the flyers for the wood and quilt raffle tickets:

THANK YOU TO ALL!!!

Thanks to all who rode, volunteered, sponsored, donated gifts and services, offered encouragement, donated to the fund and prayed for good weather!!! Everyone's efforts payed off. This ride would not be the success that it is each year without all the tremendous support it receives from all the family, friends, people we know, people we don't know, businesses and organizations. We ended up with 138 motorcycles with a total of 208 riders - operators and passengers. Very cool!

It is an incredible feeling seeing all the people, everyone working together and to watch and hear 138 motorcycles roaring off on a 120 mile ride. All of this dedicated to a memorial scholarship fund in names of our children, Justin and Robin. It is very moving and quite difficult to contemplate or talk about without getting emotional.

We look forward to doing it again next year (and the year after that and the year after...).

Anyone who went on the ride or was involved please leave comments here on the site or send an email and let us all know how you think it went. We'd love to hear from you.

Again, Thank you Thank you Thank you! Justin and Robin would be very pleased and proud.

Here are a few random shots of the ride. You may recognize yourselves or someone you know.
